Default engine building and machine shops

what would you guys pay for a shop to do light machine work and deck and assemble your short block? im curious at what my bill will be im thinking 350..

what dose "Light machine" work mean? decking is probably $50+ and a bore/hone is around $200+ and assemble is 80/hour ish

What part of the country. Middle of the country=dirt cheap to live

I just paid $240 for a .020 bore,hot tank, and crank cleaning/inspection.

mine was 370 with mains and cleaning and 40 over balance deck and everything
