Default Ecu blinking

as said in here https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=10341 i have a single blink, then all kinds of other ununiform blinks that just keep on blinking. Is this supposed to happen or are these error code?? if they are, anyone got a link where i can find out what they mean? thanks

Sounds like you have more than one code going on.

hey dude. go get a chiltons manual. They have all the codes in them and all sorts of other stuff to learn about. They are worth the $15.

chilton sucks my ***, I have a chilton's manual and it's better than nothing but it leaves alot to be desired. Alot of times it will say things like "remove all bolts and brackets" or "torque the bolts down" and it won't tell you where the ---- the bolts are, and it won't tell you what torque specs to use. Right now I'm looking for an electrical short and captain chilton isn't telling me what voltage/resistence to expect from the ---- I'm testing.

check the codes by counting the number of blinks. for example. blink...pause....blink blink blink blink blink blink blink...pause...blink...etc... would be a code one, and a code seven - at least on an obd0 ecu. look up the ecu codes for your car on google by typing in something like "honda crx ecu codes" or whatever car you have. decode them from there. good luck man. oh yeah... those chiltons manuals do suck, they just give you an IDEA about what to do without telling you what EXACTLY what needs to be done. they are still worth the $15 though, and are also better than those haynes garbage that i have.
