i was actually gonna do the same thing. i bought a car that had some gay projectors on it so i panted them and am gonna put a P&P kit in there soon. don't worry about the glare everybody is talking about because that is only in the stock reflective housing. your projectors should give a decent result, but still nothing liek a retro. hmm, wonder if you could just swap out the lense down the road?

Poor aim in all headlights suck no matter HID or halogen, or whatever. Show us a pic when you get them done. HID and Halogen are like night and day. I love the 4300K bulb in my car, as I think anything over 6k is gettin ricey.

so your saying that painting the reflective housing inside the headlight reduces glare from the HID bulbs? How is the visibility?

my intentions was not to create a ricey looking setup. my headlights are freaking useless, its even worst when the road is wet I can't see ----.
when I started this thread I had no idea what the meaning of color temperature, I wanted bright white bluish lights. so when I ordered I ask for the 8000k ones, if I knew that it was rice blue I would have gotten something between that and stock.

no, that's not what i said. i painted them because they were chrome and just to try and take away from the mexi-fect i painted them black. using a stock reflector housing ment for halogen bulbs creates glare. i am just going to use the halogen projector for the HID bulbs.
