Default ebay hid kits

I am thinking about buying a ebay hid, kit, I currently have tyc projector beam headlights on my car, (note: gives a ---- if anyone thinks they are ricey, because I like them, they look good to me, no stock jdm for me). disclaimer out of the way. anyways I wanna get brighter lights. I forgot what bulbs are they exactly, I think halogen 1, or2. my car originally came with h4, so on the projector it has a h4 plug, if I get a hid kit what lights would be preffered, or work with the hid kit? if I can't the right kit I should be able to hard wire it in correct?

Don't do it. You'll send glare and blind everyone else on the road. If you're lucky, one will swerve in front of you since they can't see a damn thing....

Do retrofits of factory projectors, or don't do it at all...

HID plug and play IS the new altezza....

Exactly. Although I hate ricer projectors anyway, if you're going to do it please do it right. Unless you want to drive around with everyone calling you an ------- and flashing their lights at you, get some OEM projectors and bulbs and do it THE RIGHT WAY.

Just throwing in ebay bulbs in ebay projectors will blind every vehicle, and might end up causing an accident. I know the proper way is more expensive, but when someone runs into your car because they are blinded, it'll end up costing more.

I have the tyc projector lights, but they simply not bright enough, I just wish I could get them to be brighter without being illegal, or blinding someone,
even the factory bmw and audi lights are blinding here. I probably just need to get some good quality bulbs instead of a conversion kit.
can the hid bulbs work with a stock system, or do it need the balast to amplify it? I really hate seeing those things in the motor bay

Any decent one afaik has ballasts... it's just necessary to get the light output but keeping the amp draw down or else you have melted wires or a fire. Ballasts convert to higher voltage so less amps are needed.

Yeah the ballast is needed. The lights would otherwise just draw a huge amount of current and end up destroying themselves/the wiring.
