Re:dx vs si tranny
I'm rocking the stock DX tranny in my car. I have a spare Si tranny, but honestly, I like the DX tranny. I have a real broad torque curve so the longer gearing helps there.
high rpm torqueless motors see big gains from cars with short gears, where-as I'd doubt unless I was on slicks or something a car like mine would be too much faster.
No one has meantioned the top speed of the Si tranny is like 127mph in 5th ( unless you like revving your D16 to 8000rpms ). My DX tranny has seen 135mph, and had more to go ( but ran outta road ).
I'm happy with my DX on 12-14psi with a meduim turbo, but ifit breaks I'll swap in the Si just b/c I have an extra...

Re:dx vs si tranny
I was just using the mph vs rpm calulator with stock Si rims/tires and redline...
I know the DX tranny's top speed isn't 135mph, I just ran outta road...
But yea, your right, I prob. have no idea what I'm talking about.... Hell, I'm not even sure what size my honda engine is....
