Hondas have such bad wheel spin I kept my DX tranny.. I could have swapped it for a Si one at no cost to me, but I kept my DX..

If you know mustangs..
3.55 = DX
3.73 = SI
4.10 = ZC

I know that's not really what the honda ones are, but if you know mustangs you'd know what I'm saying... Why am I even typing this... Its a civic forum.. DUH...

so let me get this straight. i have a 90 dx with a tranny and am gonna hook up a 91 d16a6 engine to it. this will save me a ---- load of work with axeles. someone let me know what the deal is. i have a act clutch and jg flywheel will that matter any? this is very interesting. let me know

The DX and SI gears are EXACT it is the final drive thats different.. sowwy but fact.
