Just wondering how do you know what year tranny you got if you got the DOHC ZC offline?? isn't the 88 tranny different than the rest? is there anyway to find out or just test the clutch on the tranny

the 88 tranny's are diff than any other EF tranny. the only differnce is the input shaft spline count.. the only way to know is to run the #'s on the tranny or just put it in and YOULL know.. post the #'s and ill cross referance them with the 2 i have..

88 = no ring on input shaft
89 = one ring
90-91 = two rings
92-93 = white sticker, like on 92+ Civics
