Default d16y8 crx swap

Hello i need some help with a motor swap im doing. To start off i have a d16y8 that i wanna put in an 89 crx hf. I just needed help on what ohter parts im gonna need for the swap and so far i have these parts. Thanks

d16y8 with an 89 crx si tranny bolted up
ob0 to 0b1 conversion harness
p28 ecu

You have all you need, only put your old mount from driver side into the D16y8 engine, convert to obd1, make wiring for vtec and done.

Thats what i thought but some guy at the local shop was telling me i needed a obd1 distributer so yeah..

no not treally unless you want to convert your car to obd-1..if you do yes you will need an obd-1 distributor if you dont want to convert it at this time just use your distributor and bolt the motor in and wire your vtec up to a toggle switch or get an msd rpm activated one for it..

yeah i plan on going obd-1 and then boosting it.

you can use a odb2 distributor so if the y8 still has it your good. you will need to wire the 4 wire o2 in as well

I think, first put that y8, leave it obd0 and make shure it starts.

Second, convert to obd1 if you want
