Default D16A6 Rods

HMT boosting to near 10psi, new oem .25mm overbore pistons, will the stock rods hold up or would it be a time bomb? also, possible regrind turbo cam in the future. if stock rods won't go, anything better than stock but cheaper than eagles? wife's already complaing about the $$.

Well, my buddy Neal was boosting 10psi on stock internals on that motor for a long time... that motor's demise was caused by overgapped spark plugs and fuel wash...

the rods/pistons held up fine for a long time

it sounds like your investing money in a rebuild it would be a really bad day if all that money was tossed out the window cause one of your stock rods was hangin out the side of the block.

Beau

ps im guessing that wouolod really make your wife happy :P
