You think so? Hmmmm, maybe ill let my heaters run all day and warm up the block and see if that works before ripping everything apart.

 

ya.. like.. if its THAT cold, theres no oil (to repel moisture), think of how your tounge sticks to a metal post in the winter.. same deal going on maybe?

No, ill stick a space heater right next to the block though, give my garage like 4-5 hours to warm up. Thanks man i didn't even think about that.

 

I am assuming it is frozen. I would pull the oil pan and use a heat gun or hair dryer to thaw out the cylinders and then spray some wd-40 on the cylinder walls and down the spark plug holes in the head. Then with some lube on the cylinder walls try to turn the crank pulley.

 

Thanks ill give it a shot this sunday on my day off from work, suppose to warm up too.

 

i say if u get it started (with oil duh), do a back to back oil change to flush the moisture.

 

I heated the block up today to about 100 degrees, put a shitload of wd-40 in the cyclinders let it sit for an hour then put more wd-40 in, unloosened the crankshaft bolt and tightened it back on and continued to tighten and the bolt snaps and it now stuck in the crankshaft.

 

You aren't having much luck, are you? Now that ------- sucks. Why didn't you put any oil in the motor after you were done with the engine? Have you pulled the oil pan to check things out or to lube the cylinders walls? Now is the time to stop dicking around and figure this out before you break something else.

 

Extracting bolts in hard to reach places absolutely sucks the mother of all lefties on a hot day

Kinda odd for a known good motor to just freeze up though, shoulda had some oil there there though
