i'm asking because i think the op has an d16a1 and indeed it doesnt work with a d16a1 but i have a dohc zc as we speak with a d16z6 oil pump installed and running with no probs..

I had a ZC aswell and i used a A6 oil pump with no problems. also i think the d15's work aswell.

my 88 d16a1 ftw!!! got a pump for an 87 d16a1, and ported it out endyne style
