D15B7 with A6 cam uses a Y7/Y8 cam gear to correct the 1/2 tooth issue I figured out 7+ years ago.

Now getting 45+ mpg!

I have a A6 head but it needs a complete rebuild and i dont have the money to build it right now so the only choice i have at the moment is the b7....But thanks for the info as soon as i start my job in a couple of weeks ill get the A6 rebuilt..

A6 and B7 heads are the same, just the camshiaft was different.

My CX had 16 valve reliefs in the pistons. Straight forward swap if the pistons have teh reliefs.

just put the a6 cam in the b7 head and get a y7 cam gear.
