i just assume when ppl say d15b that they are talking about the jdm vtec. ive never actually seen anyone buy a jdm d15b that was non vtec...i mean its not like they can be that much more expensive. i didnt know there was a non vtec jdm sohc that was stamped d15b. i've never even seen a d15b non vtec for sale come to think of it

i used to beat on my d15b. it wouldnt die. it saw 15psi on a 10psi street tune quite a bit along with way too many 8k+ rpm pulls

 

never messed with d-series, i've been an H-series and just now gotten my first b-series. ill have to try d-series somtime...lol

 

i have been shopping around and i found a d15b with tranny for $650 from tiger japanese...does anybody have any info about this site? Tiger Japanese Auto Parts LTD - Home like are they legit cuz i hear a lot of people buying from hmotors

 

never heard of them..

i got mine shipped to my door from hmotors for around 750. complete motor, no tranny. its 550 before shipping. worth the extra money, it is clean as ----! mint.

 

research tiger direct they suck ***** and have horrible buisness standards and customer service
