D15b into a dx 92 civic
hey i was thinking about buying a JDM d15b i plan on putting it in myself i was jus curious if there were any problems or special considerations for this swap
none at all just un bolt and bolt back in simple as jerking off
o ok haha i thought wood be more difficult cuz of the wiring being for a right side drive car thanks
its a direct bolt in. i had one in my 93 coupe for a while. the only thing i had to modify was the tab on the back of the manifold for the purge solenoid. the tab was there but i drilled a hole and tapped it so it would bolt on like stock.

well in a dx you'd need to wire up vtec but i assume you already knew that. i have a d15b with a dx tranny in my cx. Gearing isnt as bad as ppl make it out to be. the motor makes enough power that it doesnt bog... i love my dx tranny for boost. |
well that depends if his d15b is vtec not all d15bs are vtec
thanks for the help guys and the d15b im talkin about is vtec
