you could find a b16 for around 1,200-1,500 for a complete swap. but that is still a stock motor. you could spend the same amount and have a built d series running ungodly amounts of boost whooping b swaps all day long

yeah i love the d series because they are so cheap and parts are everywhere for them. i have a NA (by choice) gsr but have had 3 boosted D's in the past. if my motor doesn't run how i want it to this year at the track or put down the power i want on the dyno i will probly end up selling it and building the other D block i got.

B16 rod length=134mm stroke=77mm 134/77= 1.7402
D16 rod length= 137 stroke=90mm 137/90= 1.522


thats a huge difference when it comes to rpms and cracked walls

ohh yea.... I rock the ---- outta my D.... 114 mph traps at 15 psi...... but i have no traction... 13.4
i have a B16 sittin and waitin to get rebuilt.... but i got "Top Secret" plans for it..... gonna cost more than i even wanna think about, but i'll be launching like a turbo'd MR2....... MUAHAHAHA

The only two statements that should be listened to in this thread are 1) TT rods and Vitaras and 2) OBX LSDs are great. Claiming 220 from an IHI, or that RS means anything in a Honduh...
