Default D motor hack... Supra pistons with LS rods? Anyone done that to see the fit?

There is a guy on h-t that is selling this setup. He has a pretty good price but shipping is around 100 dollars. I'd like to do this setup myself since I have a backup d block. Anyone got any info on that combo? toyota pistons with ls rods?

I have heard that it works fairly well. The yota pistons are forged.

I never went for it because for a few extra bucks you can get aftermarket pistons/rods.

I figure I could build that setup cheaper than buying from that dude on h-t. The only thing I dont know about is the machine work that is needed.

There was a post on here WAY back in the day about a group buy. Aperently there is a guy that will sell six supra pistons for pretty cheap. They are the same bore but you have to modify the ls rods
