there is a machine shop here but when I ask the guy if he do, he said no,maybe there is a different term for it here,do I need to get the orings or do they just cut them? I talk to sce last night and they something about a wire. can someone provide me with a picture of the way it looks? maybe that will help me find a shop that will do it.

it goes like this...they make like grooves around your cilinder...like a trench around your cilinder and then you have to put stainless steel wire of the same size as the groove in it it's gonna form a ring that sticks half out the groove so it will press into the copper gasket and make a seal around the cilinder

so thinking of the design of the honda block, they would have to make grooves in the sleeves, or around the coolant trench, or is it around every single hole in the block?since I dont plan to strip the engine down all the way, can I just do the head? where can I order the wire from? is like safety wire or stronger?

Gotta throw a wrench into this one... heheheh
Have a friend with a boosted B16 using a copper gasket and no O-ring. Its only been together for a few months, but so far so good.
I personaly wouldnt do it. Stock gasket, or O-ring/Copper.

You can o-ring the head, but from friends experience o-ringing the block is better...it just sealed better with him..can't do both though.
And got to o-ring on each cilinder

you will need some special cutters to cut the Steel oring, so it doesnt leave a beveled edge, or you will have to hand file them all. Takes a bit to do, also I glued mine in place before I put the headgasket on so it would stay put.
