Default clutch problem, hybrid D drivetrain

I swapped a D16Z6 into my hatch, and now the tranny that worked for the past year isn't working right.
The tranny is a 89' DX tranny that came with the car. I used the 93' flywheel and clutch stuff.
I can put it in any gear and let off the clutch and the car doesn't move, the rpms only drop like 200rpm max. I reused the throw-out bearing from the D15b2.. I already tried adjusting the clutch cable in about 10 different places and now I dropped the tranny, but don't know what to look for, I'm a engine/turbo crazy ****, but the little things I'm still learning on.

Any comments on possable cause or what to check would be great.

if you used the clutch bigger then the flywheel that could be the reason, and your in for another clutch disk

the trani went on fine? like theres no gap between engine and tranny?

yea the tranny bolted right up fine.
I thought you were supposed to match the clutch/presure plate with the flywheel that you use, not the tranny. Is that right ?

the 90+ clutch has a larger diameter then the 89 flywheel.

I used the 93' flywheel that came on the motor with the 93' clutch/presure plate.

I'm guess they are pretty close to perfect, the inputshaft when right into the motor...

I had the same problem with my 88 dx hatch and a 95 SOHC Vtec ZC i used, Had to use the stock dx flywheel and clutch on the transmission. But in my case the tranny would not even go in to the block, so after I changed the parts in went right in perfect.

Hmm I guess you have another problem, cause with the '93 flywheel and '93 clutch it should work...open the tranny and look for broken stuff hehe..
