K, so I planned on taking the the new beater out for a drive the other day and the bitch wont start? I checked the ECU and its giving me 16 Flashes, INJ Error. WTF is that? The car had run great and now it just wont start up for ----. Any ideas what step to take to fix this besides going MPFI which I do plan to do very soon. Thanx guys.

i'd start with the easy ---- first. check your grounds to see if any are loose, missing, or broke. if one looks a little shady replace it or run another chunk of wire with it. have someone turn your key on while you check to see if the plugs to the injectors are getting power as it primes (if not its probably a bad fuse, wire, or relay). on DPFI check the resistance of your injectors-- main should be .6-1.6 ohms and aux should be 6-10 ohms. you can also check the resistance on your main relay to be sure its not bad. not sure if your sensors in the distributor could be causin this prob somehow too. hope that helps or at least gets you started.

code 16 is always wiring look around the injector clips for a short

i had that happen to me on my 91 dx hatch. but the car ran perfect so i didn't care. it didn't throw a cel either so even less of a reason to fix it.
