I'm suppose to swap out my tranny this week. Popping the axle out of the tranny seems to be the fastest way for me to swap a tranny.

hmm it does sound easier to leave the axle nut in and just move it a bit out of the way by removing lower balljoint bolt. Going to have to give it a try when doing my clutch.
