Default GSR rods

Can you use gsr or type r rods in an ls/vtec setup for better rod to stroke ratio?

Sure can.. just need a GSR/ITR crank to go with it, otherwise it wont work.

I just got a set of gsr rods with arp bolts cheap shot peened and balanced. I got them with the idea of puting them in my ls/vtec with ctr pistions and wondered why you can't use the ls crank deck clearance or what?

You need the GSR crank if you use the GSR rods, LS and GSR cranks are diffrent, so are the Rods.
