cheapest place to get shift linkage?

Get the 90-93 teg linkage... since thats basically the same style tranny you are going to be using... (cable b-series)

The older style mounts different

k, i was hoping the 86ish ---- would work, there is one at pull-a-part right now...how much does 90 teg linkage go for?

90-93 teg shifter cut 4 inch out a both and squeeze some in dat ---- fit and weld i will post pics as soon as possible

4" cut out of a 90-93 linkage I think you'll not be liking that driving experience... Try the following:

Shorten the change rod 2-5/8"
Shorten the compensation rod 2-3/8"

Works like a charm, and feels o-so-oem

use the 90-93 teg linkage. bolt in the motor, cut the linkage at a straight spot and find tubing to fit inside at least 1/8th inch thinck steel. It has to be a tight fit inside the linkage tubing. then just install with the steel inside the linkage. tack weld it. remove and finish weld. i say this because the linkage also has to be rotated a bit. If you just cut and weld youll end up cutting it again and again. ITs sooooo much easier this way.!!!

pm me....where do you live...i can get one from a real jdm crx for you for 70 bucks. but thats if you pick up. im in so cal. unless you want to work out something...i got tons of them.

umm this is a really old post...infact i have had the motor in my car for 3months. i scored some 90-93 teg linkage that was precut (and a nice lookin starter) from a friend and Beau hit the linkage with the TIG... in it about 40bucks...
