if your running the stock computer you would need to leave the IACV plugged in and dangling, but idk if your tuning software offers a iacv disable, if it does then you may not.
You will probably need to leave the stock idle control valve and lil **** thing in place so you can set your idle.
Or, here's a random *** idea i just had. Machine an adaptor block for the stock IACV that will allow you to run a hose to the vacuum block (that i'm assuming you will be using to get a clean signal for the map sensor) and let it control the idle.

What engine management are you running? If its Uberdata or Crome I'd say ---- the IACV and don't use it at all.
