ok, every pulley and gear I have veery pulled, came off by hand with no excess force needed. Did you pull this motor from a junkyard, sittin on teh ground for a few years?

i picked it up from a local guy y8 .. 80k miles , sat in my house for like 8 months .. i sprayed it with some jb ---- today.. had it on its side and watched it like soak in .. beat it with a rubber mallet tried to pry with a screwdriver. slid the crank over a little and beat the end to try and move the crank and not the gear.. Still nothing . i guess ill keep soaking it. But yea there was a little rust holdin that crankpullet on ..bet the same thing holdin on this gear.. but i just cant get behind it and beat it ya know. i guess if i had the right freakin puller i could use it on that as well if its small enough. i might give that a try if i cant get it in the next few days. busy w/ work anyways so im not in a hurry.

or take the flywheel cover off and stick a screw driver or punch in there. so that way the flywheel doesnt move. then use a breaker bar and loosen it. That's what i always been doing. I never mess up any flywheel teeth.

soaked the ****** through like a whole can or this jb penitrating ----.. even tilted the block on its side and watched the lube bubble and sink down in there.. still nothing . i had the the pulled wedged with a screwdriver so it couldnt move . and i beat the ---- outta the end of that crank with a mallet and then a block of wood and bigger hammer.. still nothing lol .. dont know what to do now.. id ude a puller but the bolt for the crank is just too short for the thickness of the puller.

heat the gear up. That will make it expand off of the shaft a little so it will be easier to get off. It may also free whatever is holding it on so tight. heat it, then pry it up with a screwdriver.

I broke a nice snop on screwdriver trying to keep the flywheel form spinning

3/4" air is all that would work for me
