maybe you are lean. I'm just saying I wouldn't trust that autometer gauge. Switching turbos very well may be putting more air into the motor at the same boost level.

so it says its lean at idle??

...lets say ur car was properly tunned( a little more on this later) using a small .48/.42 t3. and u slap on a 60-1 with the same tune, and same amout of boost, it will affect ur a/f ratio. even if u used the same size turbo(as far as housings) and whent with a diif. trim, that will afffect it also.

when i ran a fmu, my car to the best of my knowlage ran lean. atleast thats the way my motor loked when i took it apart. TUNNING is the biggest part of a turbo setup. i never realized just how important it was until my oil pump gear broke and i took my motor apart. i was loosing power from running lean,it was harder on my pistons/ rings/ and i was losing power from the knock sensor retarding my timming(it was picking up detination *sp* that i could not hear). i have read the detination can cause vibrations in ur engine, and can lead to bearing/ oil pump failure(i dont believe this was the whole reason my oil pump gear broke but i know it didnt help).

so anyway i have rambled on enough. bottom line: no more guessing. get it tunned

P.S. this needs to be in a diff section. u might get a better response there.
