car sputtering

Re:car sputtering
well, it's still doing it, but i think it has sumptin to do with the IAC?? i replaced the o ring around it and it fixed the idle and everything was running fine. my cel was still on, but i figured it was because of my broken knock sensor, but i checked it and i still have a cel for the IAC, i don't know why??. so my car is acting up that day like i explained in my first post. then after work, it's fine and doesn't happen again until this morning. it happened both times in the same situation, it was pretty cold out, about 35°F (canadians, don't laugh, that's cold here), and it happened both times after driving for about 20 mins, then come to a stop at a stop light and it's idling high again, then whe i press on the gas, it bogs at first and then catches. when i'm cruising, if i let off the gas just enough to where i'm not accelerating, and then press again, it hesitates (bogs) for a second. then i get to work, get back in an hour later to go get some brufus, and everything is fine?? i'm assuming it has sumptin to do with the iac, but what?? it runs fine most except for these instances, i even tried a different iac valve, and i still had the light. and yes, i did reset my ecu numerous times

Re:car sputtering
are you sure you have the right plug on the IACV. It has the EXACT same plug as another sensor around there.. I think the IAT on the side of the IM. (driver's side).
if that doesnt work check the wiring. It has to be wiring if a different IAC failed.
CEL comes on right at startup or during driving (your 20min situation)

Re:car sputtering
the only plug i saw that looked the same was the tps plug, but it is a 3 prong plug and the iac plug is a two prong, besides, if they were switched, i would get a cel for the other als the voltage to the wiring is fine i'm stumped after i reset the ecu, it takes a minute of driving for the cel to come on

Re:car sputtering
i followed the wires on the harness and everything looked good. in a book it said to make sure there is voltage going to the yellow/blue wire and there is. i'm not sure how to test the other wire, it only said to test the one. i have no fukn clue, it just doesn't make any sense to me :P
