car sputtering

wtf! i have a 00 si with stock b16, it was driving like ---- and had a cel for a couple weeks after i took the i.m. off to clean it. well come to find out, i'm a dumbass and forgot to hook my tps back up and the o ring on my iac was no good. so i finally figured this out and fixed it. it's been running fine for a couple of days, but this morning when i was stopped at a light, i went to put it in gear and it bogged a little like i was out of gas, then the rest of the ride to work, it was sputtering a little if i let off the gas and pressed it back down. it felt exactly like i was running out of gas, but i have a full tank? i don't understand, the car only has 60k miles on it, and is stock except for i/h/e, i don't understand why i would be having a problem like this ???

Re:car sputtering

i just replaced the plugs about 1k miles ago. i'm gonna check out the filter today, i'm at work right now. i sure as ---- hope it's not my main relay, but i seriously doubt it is??

crx88si, no ----, wtf. i've never had any problems working on my teg, now all of a sudden i can't do some simple ass ---- without problems, obd2 sucks my balls....

Re:car sputtering

i can't see it being the main relay. If it was the relay it would be cutting power to 1 of 3 things. 1. ecu 2. ign 3. fuel pump. and your car wouldn't sputter. it would die.

maybe you pinced a fuel line while messin with the IM? I think the EACV and IAT sensor have same wiring. double check wire colours so u are sure u didnt mess it up.

Re:car sputtering

yeah, but it's ran fine for a few days? it could be the filter, but even that is unlikely since the car is practically brand new?

60k Mi is enough to warrent a new filter especially if the previous owner car it on an empty tank alot. I always fill mine up at around 1.4 as to leave the dirt on the bottom.

well, i don't know if he did, but i sure as hell do ;) it has to be something simple though, i'll check my plugs and filter and fuel lines when i get off, it couldn't really be anything else
