can't get my h23 to start?

not sure if you can do this on a prelude or not but tons of people do this on civics and it has the same problem.....check to make sure you didnt switch the TPS and MAP sensor plugs, they are the same and if you switch them around your car will run like ***

I never unpluged the map during the install, I also tried to use a 1.8 ls map sensor but the car ran the same, and the ecu still read a map sensor. I didn't think the ls map would work, but it worth a try.

Are honda map sensors interchangable? Iam still getting a map sensor code, and the car seems like it is limp mode, with a lot of black smoke out of the tail pipe. and it don't wanna idle on its own.

sounds liek what happened to a friend of mine, idled like crap, black smoke, sounded like pure ----. it ended up being one of his injectors.
