is this possible? To use my ls dizzy on the b16 t looks like i'd have only one bolt and be cutting off one leg of the housing so it doesnt hit the vtec solonoid.

ok, so i have a hype r obd2 dizzy and my ls one apart and most of the way swapped out right now... Problem is, when i try to use the top plate and whole gear assembaly from the ls, it bolts into the obd2 case, but is about 1/8" too small. It leaves a gap around the whole outside and neither cap will bolt on afterward. So i tried to swap the LS electroncs onto the obd2 case and gears, now the upper gear is hitting the top pickup as it rotates WTF im trying to rape this bitch tonight!

i hate wiring.. for anyone else that does, this is what i had to do to make it fit:
You'll need to use the gears and mounting plate from the ls obd1 distributor in the obd2 housing. However, the shaft will stick out too far if you just bolt it down. 1 6mm washer under each of the screws that hold it in place put it at the perfect height. Next problem, the type arrrrr dizzy cap didnt clear the obd1 ignitor. Mark the cap where it hits and start grinding, make sure you dont punch a hole in the cap though. Just took it for a 45 min. ride, everything seems to be working so i guess it worked!
