dizzy guts swap??

Default dizzy guts swap??

ok my zc dizzy i throwing a code 4 that i cant get to go away and people have said to use a crx si dizzy well the bolt pattern is compltely different but what i want to know is it possible to take the guts out my spare crx si dizzy and put them in my zc dizzy case?? or am i just wishful thinking?? all obd0 by the way

yea im just not completly sure if its possible or not.. i have checked egay for another dizzy and they are way too expensive for my taste and no luck here so far so wasnt sure if it could be done or not..

i switched ignitors before between obd1 and obd2. still works jst fine.

no i need to swap the whole smear out because i get a code 4(cps) out of mine

If the cps is the same as obd1 code 7, you can do it. I just did it when my rotor screw came off and went for a trip around the distributor, ------- up one of the sensors. I didn't have to switch all the parts out, but it looked like I could have if I wanted to. I'd say you'll be good.

cool i was going to try and switch the guts out but wanted to get some q's answered first.. now that i know it can be done obd1 to obd-1 i will try tomm. maybe.. i just wanted to try and get some feedback on doing so to see if it had to be nog rigged to get it to function properly..

i just did that same thing but i put the crx si dizzy parts in a obd0 ls dizzy i just used the ls shaft and sensor pickups cause the si ons had a bad bearing. all in all it worked fine.

Why not get a dist. for a A1 at the junkyard? Swapping internals take like 5 minutes at the most.
