What do all of the CA people do now about the new smog test's that they are doing?

Do you all just remove the turbo setup before smogging? or do you just pay to pass...

I really don't know how to get around smog. I used to pay a bill to some shady mechanics, but now I can't find one shop that would let me pass . I love Cali, but I hate it's smog laws and gas prices.....blech!

 

Go to the dirty low income areas and look for smog shops. That's how I passed my crx out in Bakersfield after the shop I went too for years stopped doing it. also be ready to pay atleast 300. Guys gotta make it worth his while has fines a rather large these days.

 

I have heard there are a couple shops that will pass you in San Bernardino on Highland Avenue. Just have one of your minority friends do it for you because if they see a white boy walk up there, they just figure you are a cop.

there a few in down town antioch and my friends friend worked there so i just payed and go hook up or u can get it smoged with a good stock engine and then swap out!

 

just regular test or test only

 

"Minority friends" huh n-e-ways, he is right, I take all my cars to a shop in san bernardino (PM me if you want to roll with me down there, i gotta get 3 cars done)... only $45 bucks too...
