Hey guys, as you know I am geting into the whole Turbo ting, and I was just wandering what motors you guys have and what type of turbos, and all that stuff, and how much extra hp gained after boosting your motor... track times and etc. I just want to see how big of an encrease there is and what set up u used! it's just another fun topic to blab about!...

4g63, it works the simple 420a's in the same class by 70HP.. and that's bone stock!

im running t3 (.42 .4 stock d15 ,fmu,fpr .running about 7 psi with no wg about 4.5 with wg. cant tell hp havent dynoed but sure is fast as hell

tco5-a mitsubishi turbo tiny as turbo but still works ....d15b7 on 11 psi havnt dyno'd but alot faster than b4

T3 .60/.63 on a D16Z6...

Going to the track tonight (street tires) and dyno in a couple of weeks. Definitely fast and worth the time/effort. Slicks are coming soon...

so if I get a T3 Super 60 for my B18B how much extra hp gain do you think I can have?

Turbo ZC w/14b, fmic, te2.0. Walk away from 190 crank hp j-spec b16a ALL day long. Whether its from a stop or blowing by HARD and 120kph on really poorly tuned rom. Way to rich and retarded

Yea if you want more power, then you should swap a vtec head, LS motors are ok, but its definetly not going to pull as hard as a ls/vtec turbo would!!!!!! You already spent the money on the mounts and b series motor, so i would put the head on and then turbo it!!! u can find them for aorund 300 bucks! and that would give you way more hp right there.

Ls motors are little more powerful than sohc vtec's, thats why i chose to keep mine, my friend has one, and he barly pulls on me.

....1500 bucks in labor for someting around 20 extra HP in the higher RPM's just doesn't seem worth it to me.
