i have been thinking about selling my car and buying a 92-95 hatch but can't decide on and engine. i was thinking about getting a D with vtec and filling the block and getting rods, pistons, and crank. but on the other hand for about the same price i can get a stock B16 and probly run about 10 psi safely. both will be boosted just want opinions about what others would do.

that's what i was thinking because my friend has a complete b16 but the numbers are scratched off the block so i was just gonna get a gsr block and call it good.

Ds are good but not worth building.......run them stock not built

kind of a preferance thing. im in my d stage right now so id tell ya go with that

It's preference. B's are way hotter and rev higher and have tons more power NA and can handle lots of boost in stock form. Not to mention they can spool bigger turbos. Built D? Yeah, they're alright I guess.
