NA D15 running 10's, NA F22 running 9's, need I say more!
Besides a BUILT D series will take 30+ psi and make 400+ whp.

I just want 12's on slicks. A stock d will get you there. A built d will ad reliability and the optiion to run higher boost and of course your tune is important. I'd rather spank a B with my D. :P
I went 12's on a stock B series on shitty *** street tires. B series in the end is cheaper and easier to go faster.

Re: built D or stock B for boost
what makes the b series better? more displacement? better heads?
the magical one cam for intake and one cam for exhaust isnt what does it.
i think the b series vtec heads and cams just flow well and make good power?

Re: built D or stock B for boost
If you buy a 92-95 si hatch you will already have a d16z6, then all you have to do is buy rods/pistons and you should be able to get 300whp without too many problems. A stock b-series will handle that much power, but your going to spend at least $2,000 (probably more) just to do the swap, so going with a built d will be cheaper than a stock b. I woudl rather have forged rods/pistons anyways. So I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend. You coudl just piece together a LS/Vtec and get a cheap hatch as well, but those little parts will probably start to add up.
If I sold my car and started all over I would probably get a 92-95 vx/cx hatch and swap a GSR in it, then eventually build the ---- out of the motor and buy a big fatty turbo.
