Good write up Frank just a little extra. I always lub the caliper pins and take the stainless shims out of the bridge and clean the rust off all pieces so the new pad slides very easy in the bidges with a tiny bit of lube(silicone based grease) on the shims. If the pad slides easier they will cool better when you off the brakes. I suppose if you didn't live in a rust belt that wouldn't be needed though

never heard of that highroller. I might do that this weekend.
****. I use tools at the hobby shop. It cost me $2 an hour to use about any tool you can think of. for I think $2.50 I can have a lift, if ones available. But if I had to spend the $$ on a c clamp or a tool especially for that, I would take the clamp. a clamp has a ---- ton more uses than a tool designed for one thing. just me. glad you spent your $6 on your special tool.
