The problem:
I know this has been talked about a hundred times-- i used the search function-- but i just wanted to hear about mine specifically. At idle my car (95 ls engine, boosted) blows a considerable amount of air out of the valve cover breather/ oil cap if i take it off. When i rev it, it stops blowing, maybe even making suction. Is this normal?? I noticed a little tiny bit of smoke and/or vapor w/a little bit of oil residue when i took the filter off the valve cover the other night, and from what i read this is fairly normal. What do you think?

PCV setup: valve cover breather filter, pcv intake manifold side plugged, run pcv line through air compressor filter and into the preturbo intake pipe
