Is block filler needed for a 300hp goal? I had heard previously that it would be with stock sleeves.

It depends on the setup. You can be within stock specs if your cylinders are in good shape, or you can be really loose. You can't just say that vitara pistons give a bad piston-wall clearance, any piston can do that. It's not the piston's fault, it's the machinist's if your p2w is out of spec.

Unless you're talking about his setup specifically, then yea it's a bit loose. But I'd still run the ---- out of it O0

Just up the boost. Then those large P2W clearances will be justified. lol :P

dosnt look that bad the p2w but the notching is ass and i still would fill it cheap insurance and if you decide to crank the boost up then you know it will hold more then stock

Thanks gen4. You've officially crushed my hopes and dreams of being a professional block notcher.lol
Happy B-Day BTW :)
I'm going to pull the pistons and bearings and re-notch this weekend.

I'm going to hold off on filling the block for now.
I knew when i posted my build that HMT would set me straight. ;)
