Bad Ignition Switch?

Bad Ignition Switch?
So I'm doing a manual to auto swap in a 93 civic. Everything is good to go, except the wiring.
I've taken the two big wires (black-white, black-red) from the white a/t gear selector slider and twisted them together. ---- won't start. Take and apply 12v to the two wires twisted together (like from the yellow wire in the bunch that go to the white slider) starter cranks, and car runs ****. wtf am I missing? All the fuses seem to be good, even the main 50A under the hood. I'm thinking bad ignition switch.

Re: Bad Ignition Switch?
you talking about the clutch pedal? i know about the two switches, neither are hooked up. i thought you could just bypass the upper one by connecting the two big wires from the white gear selector slider. sure you could start the car in gear, but i'm not an idiot
