ACCORD MAIN BEARINGS
i blew my motor due to a bad oil pump and now i rebuilding and can not find the codes for the main bearings or rod bearings on the crank anywhere. maybe i missed somthing but i have another accord crank sitting around with no codes on it eaither and the service manual at the honda dealership i work at says that is where they should be. i was wondering if anyone knows if they are somewhere else or what?
thanks in advance for any help.

Re: ACCORD MAIN BEARINGS
you have to match the letters on the block to the numbers or bars on the crank to get the bearing color needed for that journal. but neaither one of my accord cranks have those so i don't know what to do

Re: ACCORD MAIN BEARINGS
there should only be numbers there if the crank journal or the main bearing has been align bored then you'll have a over or unsized bearing but if the crank or the bearin hasn't been touched then you should be able to use the standard bearing for it. is the code something like OS/STD .0012 or STD.
