Default 97 dx with d16y7

I put an warm air intake on it and during normal driving, the intake or something involving it starts whistling. Any ideas what is wrong? I tightened all the connections down but it still whistles. Full throttle and no throttle does NOT whistle but normal pressure on the accelerator produces the whistle.

WTF is a warm air intake?

It's going to make more noise than the stock air filter box. It's nothing to worry about. That's the price you have to pay for that extra .054hp. :P

the reason why your intake is whistling is because when you took out the stock airbox it had a silencer in it, that is why you did not hear it befor. Also a warm air intake is also known as a short ram intake. it is pulling in warm air from the engine bay.
