if it starts to happen again, take your intake off real quick and you will see 2 oriface hole in your tbody, put your finger over one of them at a time, to see which one is sucking.. if its the bottom one (its your manual cold start valve) or if its the top, its your normal Idle air control valve (electric) this will just tell you which one is causing the fluctuation.

so if i find out which one is sucking, that one is the problem valve or are they both supposed to be sucking>??

i think thats what jeff meant, depending on which one is sucking will tell u the problem.
