Running race fuel through a wastegate a BAD Idea????
My new Tial 38mm external wastegate just arrived today and I noticed that right on the box it says
**ATTENTION**: Regarding standard WG38mm valves. These valves are not intended for leaded fuel use. You may request a racing valve that is intended for leaded fuel use. There is an additional charge for this racing valve. Extended use of leaded fuel will cause performance problems.
I was going to just run 93 oct through it for the street but also tune it to higher PSI for track use with leaded 110 oct race gas for the added power from boost and timing. Do you guy's still run leaded race through your's or do you heed the warning?? thanks

I never had a problem with leaded gas. It says 'extended use' which I guess is kind of up to your own descrection to define that.
Every day hundreds of people use leaded gas through their TIAL's

gaysex, unless you just purchased a new wastegate for the B16 then it's a SSAUTO knock off wastegate.....? and in any case, I'd have to agree that just a night at the track shouldn't hurt anything.
