here i am still staring at my Friend///cough enemy
that i have yet to figure out what the ---- is going on with it. yeah im frustrated ( sam kensin style )


still no spark and im wondering what the hell is going on
im using a diffrent ECU this time P28-c00( candian )
SHOW's no CEL/MIL absoulty none....whats going here.
no spark and no CEL/MIL even after 20 seconds of crank rotation somthing should have happend


so
its either the Dizzy is Fucked
or i don't know...
im going start throwing expesive parts at it...
first see if i can get another obd1 dizzy of Ebay.. or somthing
unless one of you guys has obd1 dizzy laying around and would like to sell to me for a song or $$

really i need someone else looking to...maybe i keep missing somthing.. i don't know there cars been down for while my break rotor's are rusted ( ----!! )

2. does the ecu LED (or light onthe dash) turn on for 2 sec when you put the key in the ON position?

3. sure it's not gettin spark? how bout fuel?

2. yes i get the prestart lite. and it goes out

3. no spark as for fuel i don't really know. i got pressure
well to think abou it i haven't seen any fuel vapor comming out of the exhuast which would be a sign of fuel..

ok no spark no fuel.( think hard at this moment.. the injectors are wired correctly ( checked many times )

there getting voltage (12volts ) ( this is correct for OBd1 injectors)
until i can validate the fuel pressure i wont assume that maybe a problem im still using the stock DX TBI fuel pump

nah the pump is ok. Did u use obd1 injectors?

and its a dx car.. so you did the mpfi swap.. did u do..

1. swap the wires on the tps?
2. swap the two white wires on the dist plug?

ok I have d15b Vtec(Obd1(93) using the OBD1 Dizzy ( the one what came with the motor )
and p28 Ecu the Engine harness is REwire joby..that I did and Tested....

there is nothing left of the Oringinal other then what is under that dash

i don't have Key ignition ( push button start)( this was working before last motor blew up )


Note: please read..!!
the only part of that car is still Obd0 is both fuse box's the 4 speed transmission, the body display cluster
steering ( non-power) brakes. and gas tank and pump. every thing else is custom or obd1 and exterior lights.

i get so annoying that people don't read the whole post.

I going buy another distributer becuase i can.
and this will eliminate the dizzy cuasing any problems.

but all these guys that live Tocoma are too good. to even offer help.. BECUASE YOU SUCK!!...

go through your harness again, you probably missed something

Hey check ur Ecu Fuse... then Check the rest of ur essential fuses and ur pgmfi relay. Also u would smell it if it was getting fuel, please confirm this for us... Lastly make sure ur timing is on.

fuse's are ok. i checked them and checked them..
( ie pulled and checked with a flash light )

i do smell fuel but it don't mean im getting enough
( i even burped the fuel rail line make sure no air pockets)

i put a meter on the ICM circuit and ONLY!! getting 1.15 volts
while the engine is being cranked over the voltage drops but not enough to Zero ( to fire the ICM )

i figure that my Pick up's are fried and ( from what i hear there easly damaged )
so im going get another Dizzy.. and use that. to make sure ( like is said before. )
if that does not correct the problem i will pull the Harness.

and rebuild it.
