PUT it in and i love it but thats because my clutch was so bad if i got on it hard it would slip. No chatter just grab lots and lots of grab.

yea i have a act 4 puck in my 95 ex coupe and it does chatter and engage pretty rough but its manageable being the fact that i have hasport auto to manual swap mounts to make it even more stiffer and all the dash componets raddlle lol it kinda sucks when iam with my wife she hates it i love it.

WHY does everyone think sprung hubs have ANYTHING to do with your engagement. the sprung hub is only there for added harmonic dampening, the number of pucks have everything to do with it less pucks mean a sharper engagement. the holding power is determined by the material of the pucks. factory vehicles dont have puck style clutches to smooth engagement. a 3 puck engages harder than a 6 puck ect.

this all came from a sales rep @ SPEC clutches. I could be wrong, but i have yet to see any reason to not believe the guy, he got me a great deal on a stage 3 clutch disc, 170 vs 250 from everyone else.

ps ive been running a 4 puck stage 3 for the longest.

i think you need to pop your mammas titty outcha mouf and grow up :P

an unsprung clutch will only cause damage to the tranny in the long run...

its not that bad, fast2camcivi and drunkinmaster1 both ran an unsprung disc in a 400hp daily driver and didnt have any issues.

I ran 2 6-puck unsprung for 6 months each in my S1 b-series tranny. Other than the chatter on engagement the only other issue I had with it was breaking the material on the clutch itself. :P They never seemed to last more than 6 months at a time, and the second one started getting a hairline crack around the hub of the disc itself. Went back to an organic sprung disc and no problems since then.
