300hp out of a D16

Re:300hp out of a D16
Well, I haven't yet reached a point where the internals are really necissary yet. I'm gonna run it at the track on sunday, gonna turn her up 4 or 5 lbs and see what she does. If it hits a 12 at 18 psi, I'll be happy and say yes. However, I did rebuild the motor when I put them in because it did have 165k on it. If you want to run 7 psi or less, save your money.

Re:300hp out of a D16
I'm building my d16 right now and I keep ordering stuff I don't think I'll need cause I know later I am bound to run a 6.00 flat in my crx.
I don't think I'll be truely happy unless I reach 300. But I dont plan on reaching that by short cutting either.

Well I just finished going through everything on my D16A1 for my 85 CRX Si,
Rollerwave pistons 9.5:1
P/P head w 5 angle seats and hand blended
Eagle H-beams
Balanced (completly)
Pinned block
CM Stage 3 clutch with kevlar plate
Phantom grip LSD
I have done alot to this motor and it is capable of making the 300hp but not on my current fuel managment setup. So far I only have about 300 miles on the new motor so in a couple weeks I will be able to see how she does above 3500 and 14psi. Here is a out dated link of my setup, soon to be updated with lots of pics.
