I got them for $110 shipped with rings and i'll tell you there well worth the money.
I believe the word they used was "METALURAGY". Yeah, recent findings in METALURAGY helped them discover the ultra strong cast metal that outperforms all.......

I thought about the B16/supra pistons, but I've found that finding something that has used/tested them is just impossible...
Honda crank
LS shot-peened rods
Viagra pistons

On my rebuild ( if my Z6 ever desides to "let go", but its holding on pretty tight ).

I hear those viagra pistons stay hard all night !!!

If we only had junkyards with Toyota 1G-GTE engines around

Also, machining a b-series rod into a d-series is a bit more complicated than just notching the block. They are to fat, plus you have to resize the rod. Your looking at spending around 100 bucks at a machine shop to making a b-series rod fit in your d-series. Also if you are going to go through all the trouble in making one fit, I'd put a b16a rod in before I would use a LS rod. The b16a rod is a tad bit shorter so its going to yield a bit lower comp, also the but the rod is stronger than a ls.
