they didn't have it at my local shucks that was just a small parts store. however a few miles away was a bigger, more industrial shucks. they had it.

I just checked http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/prothane_honda.htm (down at the bottom). I know for a fact when I bought them 2 years ago they were no more than $20, now there $48 :S They were polyurethane inserts that go into the mounts, not completely new mounts.

well, i'd say it's good. :y

After about 24-26hrs of drying (and a brief window of low wind and no rain) i reinstalled my lower torque mounts. they were significantly stiffer, but still moved a bit with more force. After I put them in I had to go for dinner with the family, followed by a quick drive over to my friends for a pre-superbowl party. and i discovered that Henry Weinhards is NASTY ASS BEER :3

So, anyway, later in the night, a little before i was about to goto sleep and was just getting back from drunkenness, my buddy who just got another EF hatch with a B16 bottom/B17 top, wanted to go for a race just me and him down the local industrial road. Now usually when I launch, i launch at like 2K and barely give it any gas until my wheels grab shortly after. Well, because of my recent muffler install, my car is silent as hell, and i had my music on low.. but still loud enough for it to be hard to hear my exhaust.

So, about 15 feet from where we started, im at 6K still skeetin tractionless. BUT- i had ZERO wheel hop. The reason i usually launch so low, was because any higher and i just wheel hop the ---- out of my car. But I actually just lost traction instead. It was a pretty cool feeling once I realised I had no hop, lol.

Did a few runs, and not a single ounce of wheel hop. So in conclusion, I recommend Windo-Weld for cars with Lower Torque mounts- I don't feel any of the vibrations in the car, it just reduces wheel hop significantly ;)

not like i go around doing burnouts all the time but when i do mash out and my wheel starts hoppin crazy it just feels bad like ---- is gettn wrecked. also when i let off the the gas it feels like my ------ engine bobs around back in forth if i dont always clutch it when i let of the gas, u know?

which mounts do i want to fill just to get rid of some wheel hop?

what year car? all I know is EG/DC's have those lower torque mounts. one of on the front of the tranny going to the left, and the other is on the AC bracket going to the right. You have to get under the car to see them. EF's have those we're front cross member/traction bar thingies.. dunno much on how they work. and EK's are still new territory to me, my sister has one so i can take a look for ya if i get to it
