I used PL Roofing Sealant, some folded strips of a bicycle tire tube, and a small twig to stuff the sealant into and around the tube pieces. It wasn't overly messy, it cured fine in a day or so next to a small heater, and as far as I know they are working great over a year later.

i've decided to do this just today, here's what i've got so far. did it to my lower torque mounts on my EG hatch, i did them 1 at a time, cuz i felt like it

Soaked em in hot water and a dab of dishwasher soap. Then rinsed with more hot water a few times, followed by a towel dry and a blow-dry.

Taped up the side that doesn't stick out as much, so i could easily "fill" the mount

Had some trouble with the gun at first.. ended up cutting off nearly all of the tip and popped a hole on the metal push part.. here's one of em filled

oh, and people are joking when they say this ---- is messy.. here's the table after i finished the first one. Used 2 pairs of gloves, the wire cutters, a cheap pen, several paper towels and a peice of carboard.

I found it's best to fill up one part at a time, as by the time you come back to that part the level has gone down and will accept more window weld. Can't wait to stick these in tomarrow.. i've been having some traction and wheel hopping issues up the ass :3

just the lower torque mounts, off the A/C bracket and in front of the Tranny, that goto gay rubber mounts with hella play, just under the main frame. cuz i still wanted to be able to drive my car without them, lol

oh, and i haven't noticed any difference without them :'( ---- OEM mounts..

Whoever wrote that article is a ------- retard, he's obviously never seen inside an engine, yet he's writing tech articles about them.

Man I'm suprised you guys have never heard of Mcmaster-carr.com

That place is the ---- you can get EVERYTHING there. Anyways get the polyeurethane from there it's good ----.

There's a writeup on how to do it with VW mounts, I'm sure it's applicable to you guys' ---- too.

$16 for poly mounts for you guys? :S Our mounts are considerably more expensive than that (or are we talking a piece here)

Also, theres not really too much information after the first page that's too pertinent....Something that's not mentioned on the first page that's good to know, when I was into Dodges, we did the same thing with the casting eurethane, but added chopped up fiberglass into the mix to give it extra strength, works great....

I used some PL-xxx from home depot. Couldn't find the window weld.

Bonus** It smells kinda like chocolate.

I let em dry about a week. I just left em on top of steve's furnace after we did em.

Having mounts to replace it are wonderfull.
