Whats everybody favorite single cam honda engine?

Well thanks guys, I guess I was over reacting. I just now learned all this info and it got me scared that the engine was just gonna go. Ya, I'll be sure to watch the oil level and probably just run Mobil 1 Synthetic since I won't be driving the car except to have fun(hard).

On a side note. I have both the Y8 and Z6 heads. I'll probably use the Z6 since I am going to be building the mini-me on the side while the y8 is in the car. Also I am going with rods and pistons in the A6 block so compression ratio really isn't an issue. Thinking of using Vitara pistons, but I'll probably go with some forged ones.

i think the whole point of D is to underdog it, cmon now kevin, if you got beat by a built sohc while youre boosting 14psi and hes boosting 14psi wouldnt you be a little mad? and everyone would say you got beat by a sohc, i mean yes its built but still you got beat by a sohc. D is underdog, B is running with the rest of the pack. my .02

F22a hands down the best SOHC motor honda ever built. ESPECIALLY when it comes to boost. low *** compression....iron sleves...you might wonder if honda ever had plans to boost it from the factory

---- being an underdog, it's all about making more power and being faster, not to get respect for making power with one cam. why build a d when you can build a b and make more power. yeah, there are plenty of built d's that beat a stock b, but if you build a b to the same specs you built a d to and run the same boost, guess who's gonna make more power like i said, work with what you got, i've only ever owned b series and i think it would be kind of dumb to 'downgrade'

you should do your chrome trim in black chrome, that would make 100% difference in your car.
