Not to be an *** Brian. But I think Blunell knows what he is doing. If not, he would not have the reputation that, LEED, Harris, and Davis also has. Just to name a local few on this forum.
And DMC1 is an upcoming tuner too. He was right with Dave from what they both proclaimed.

The manifolds youve had on your setup are had really nice runner diameter to a good collector. No restrictions at all. Jeremys manifold is like 4 1.5 inch bathroom sink pipes all coming into a t3 flange at bad angles.
the dyno really told the story well too he was gaining power really fast right up until about 4500 then power would just stop and fall like a rock. kind of like your trying to run a 100yard dash and have an asthma attack at the 50yard line. speaking of 50 yard line Football. The bengals game comes on in about an hour.

Speaking from experience.....Ill BET you pick up midrange, and it spools quicker. You can SEE it in my dyno sheets... As Mitches too... As originally VTEC was up around 5200.
Im not "bashing" on anyone. IF he didnt try it, waht Im saying is it would be worth trying it... We saw gains on my ----, and it really smooths out the power band where VTEC is opening now. Looks like its up in the 5300 area Too high. The H duece likes it lower. I dont know, maybe you dont WANT to make power. I wont try and help you out constructively any longer. Im not just regurgitating ---- Ive read... This is out of wexperimentation on my car. And Mitches... We both make WELL over 500 on pump.... Id think you may be interested in what is WORKING....

Also that thing says FLYWHEEL HP/TQ (an approximation) SO.. Subtract 10-15% for drivetrain as well to get your WHP numbers... Get a Real manifold and bigger snail. You had said that thing made OVER 500 before.... WHat happened?

BRIAN you start off soft and then the NUTS start to progess to achive your CLIMAX
The 500 was from the H23 crank with the H22A rods with the custom made pistons '92mm bore with the wrist pins lower on the skirt.............. Do you as with anyone knows that a custom rod angled will require this with machining to the block and girdle. I SAID THIS SO MANT ------- TIMES. THE VALVE DROPPED. You understand ENGRISH of Dyno charts. None make since to me. Alll that Inderstand is wheels spinning way before the next tune.
